The Systems Administrator – Lead is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of in-house computer systems, software platforms, and network connections. This individual will lead the planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of all networked software and communication infrastructure. The role also involves managing system administration teams, enhancing operational efficiency through automation, and supporting multiple site deployments to meet enterprise IT goals.

Job Summary:
The Systems Administrator – Lead is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of in-house computer systems, software platforms, and network connections. This individual will lead the planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of all networked software and communication infrastructure. The role also involves managing system administration teams, enhancing operational efficiency through automation, and supporting multiple site deployments to meet enterprise IT goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration and administration of enterprise information management systems.
- Oversee installation, upgrades, and maintenance of software and server applications across remote and local environments.
- Analyze and resolve end-user connectivity and software issues.
- Perform capacity planning and performance assessments to optimize system reliability.
- Develop and implement automated administrative tools and documentation to improve efficiency.
- Provide training and performance assessments for junior system administrators.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on system architecture, fault tolerance, load balancing, and security protocols.
- Offer technology recommendations that align with business strategy.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage system security posture.
- Manage teams supporting enterprise-scale Oracle Fusion Middleware platforms serving over 300,000 users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Must have Top Secret clearance and be eligible for SCI
- Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in Information Processing, including hands-on experience in software configuration and troubleshooting.
- At least 4 years of direct, hands-on experience in system installation, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Proven experience managing design and operations teams in enterprise environments.
- Advanced technical knowledge of application networking and high-availability systems.
