Job Summary:
The ARC Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide onsite expertise to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of TIMES applications to ensure alignment with Air Force Air Reserve Component (ARC) processes, policies, and mission objectives. This role requires deep knowledge of ARC utilization and mobilization procedures and hands-on experience with the systems, data processes, and operational requirements that support voluntary and involuntary mobilization within the Department of the Air Force. The SME will ensure accurate data processing, system interoperability, and compliance with mobilization authorities, activation criteria, and enterprise systems.

The SME will ensure accurate data processing, system interoperability, and compliance with mobilization authorities, activation criteria, and enterprise systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary ARC SME ensuring TIMES application development aligns with Air Force/ARC processes and mission needs.
- Provide expert guidance on ARC utilization processes, policies, and operational procedures.
- Support and validate data processing for ARC voluntary and involuntary mobilization and deployment operations.
- Ensure compliance with Department of the Air Force mobilization policies, authorities, and activation criteria.
- Collaborate with system developers to enhance and maintain TIMES, ensuring accurate functionality and alignment.
- Provide expertise on key Air Force mobilization systems including TIMES, DCAPES, AROWS‑R, M4S, AFMMS.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements for system accuracy, interoperability, and mission effectiveness.
- Support interoperability modifications to mobilization and MPA utilization software/systems as needed.
- Work closely with government stakeholders to validate requirements and support operational readiness.
Skills/Qualifications Required
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required.
- Expert-level understanding of Air Reserve Component (ARC) mobilization and utilization processes, procedures, and policies.
- Demonstrated experience supporting ARC voluntary and involuntary mobilization operations.
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience working with Department of the Air Force mobilization and MPA utilization software/systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and refine mobilization systems to ensure interoperability with Department of the Air Force platforms.
- Hands-on experience with critical Air Force systems such as: TIMES, DCAPES, AROWS‑R, M4S and AFMMS
- Strong understanding of Department of War/Department of the Air Force mobilization authorities and activation criteria.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with Air Force stakeholders and system developers.
