Job Summary
The Business Analyst (BA) for the GSA DevSecOps Support project will analyze business needs, gather requirements, and facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams. This role is essential in ensuring that project objectives are met through effective requirements management and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for new and existing systems.
- Analyze business processes and workflows, creating detailed documentation to support development efforts.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements and expectations.
- Evaluate proposed solutions and provide recommendations based on business needs and technical feasibility.
- Assist in the development of test plans and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and work with teams to implement improvements.
Skill Requirements
- Bachelors degree in an applicable discipline
- Must be willing to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Strong working knowledge of the business functionality of one or more SAM.gov domains or FPDS.gov as applicable to the task order scope
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with relevant software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, drawings/diagram
- Good knowledge of IT and how technologies can improve business processes
- Experience with business process modeling to demonstrate interconnections between users, processes, and systems
- Experience with using data analysis to help inform decision making
- Minimum 2 years experience as business analyst or related field
