Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Herndon, VA / Hybrid or Remote

About the Role

VivSoft is hiring a Contract Manager to own both the day-to-day execution and the strategic direction of our contracts and subcontracts function, partnering closely with Growth, Delivery, Finance, and HR. This is not a back-office administration role: the right person reads terms for what they mean downstream, flags risk early, and shapes how we win, deliver, and position for the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution of contracts and subcontracts matters, serving as the go-to resource for Growth, Delivery, Finance, and HR
  • Own proposal-related contracts work: review RFP terms and conditions, flag concerns, issues, or risks to the Capture Manager, prepare the business proposal and subcontracting plans, lead OCI analysis and documentation, manage proposal delivery to the customer, and other ad hoc areas as needed
  • Drive strategic, consultative problem-solving on contractual issues across the organization, not just reactive support
  • Manage and guide employees, including goal setting, recommending and providing training, periodic coaching, and conducting performance reviews
  • Develop, modify, and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes
  • Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
  • Own the identification of risks and issues and propose solutions by thinking through upstream and downstream contracting implications, rather than simply administering what has already been signed

What We're Looking For

  • Comfort operating in a growing, fast-moving company where processes are still being built, not just maintained
  • Sharp attention to documentation and recordkeeping discipline; DCAA audit experience or exposure is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain contract risk and terms clearly to non-contracts stakeholders across Delivery, Finance, and Growth
  • A genuine interest in growing with the company — this role has a clear path toward a more senior contracts leadership position as VivSoft scales

Why This Role Matters Right Now
VivSoft is on a clear growth trajectory, and how well we manage our contracts today directly shapes our competitiveness on future pursuits. This is not a back-office paperwork role. It is a seat at the table for someone who wants their contracts expertise to actively shape how we win, how we deliver, and how we are positioned for the future.

Compensation
$100,000 – $140,000, depending on experience

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
