The Software Engineer — Senior Level (Platform Engineering) will lead the engineering and deployment of scalable platform solutions across hybrid cloud environments. This includes cloud migration, Kubernetes orchestration, API management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and secure integration across AWS GovCloud and Azure Government environments. This role requires deep expertise in building resilient platforms that enable rapid application delivery and DevSecOps practices.

The Software Engineer — Senior Level (Platform Engineering) will lead the engineering and deployment of scalable platform solutions across hybrid cloud environments. This includes cloud migration, Kubernetes orchestration, API management, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and secure integration across AWS GovCloud and Azure Government environments. This role requires deep expertise in building resilient platforms that enable rapid application delivery and DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise platform infrastructure for mission applications
- Lead cloud migration initiatives to DoD IL2+ compliant environments
- Architect and manage containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes
- Develop and maintain Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, and Terraform
- Manage API gateways and integration layers (APIM)
- Build and support hybrid cloud integrations across AWS GovCloud and Azure Government
- Develop Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps)
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and operational reliability
- Collaborating with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and application teams
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Certifications required: AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA, CompTIA Security+
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years in platform engineering
- Experience with cloud migration, container orchestration, and PaaS design/deployment
- Experience supporting DoD IL2+ environments
- Low-Code/No-Code platform development (PowerApps)
- Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- API gateway management (APIM)
- Hybrid cloud integration (AWS GovCloud / Azure Government)
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
