Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Programmer to support large-scale database management systems (DBMS) and complex software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing functional business applications, developing software solutions, and providing technical guidance to ensure project success. This role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and refining software while enhancing efficiency and performance.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an application programmer on large-scale DBMS projects.
  • Analyze functional business applications and translate design specifications into software.
  • Develop block diagrams and logic flowcharts to support application design.
  • Design, code, test, and debug software applications to meet project requirements.
  • Prepare both program-level and user-level documentation.
  • Optimize software to reduce operating time and improve performance.
  • Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering system limitations and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Six (6) years of relevant experience in application programming.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in a related field.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code development platforms.
  • Proficiency in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) tools.
  • Experience developing application/process automation software using tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc., with Microsoft SQL Server and .NET development environments.
  • Familiarity with agile and hybrid low-code application development methodologies.

Required Skills & Certifications:
  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at the time of proposal submission.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II.
