Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Power Platform application development and modernization efforts across all project phases
- Provide technical oversight for low-code/no-code solution development using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Platform Dataverse
- Coordinate database development and migration from legacy systems (Microsoft Access) to modern platforms
- Supervise and guide development team members including software developers and programmers
- Ensure technical solutions meet USCG requirements, DHS cybersecurity policies, and compliance standards
- Design software architecture and customize solutions for optimal operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze user needs and develop comprehensive software solutions
- Lead technical decision-making for complex application problems and system integration challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of software development experience with demonstrated subject matter expertise
- Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
- Extensive experience with low-code/no-code application development platforms
- Strong background in database architecture, design, and migration projects
- Experience with API development and system integration
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of government cybersecurity requirements and compliance standards
- Security clearance eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience supporting U.S. federal or Department of Defense IT modernization projects.
Certification in Microsoft Power Platform (PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600).
