This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of software products, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient operation across both pre-production and production environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with server and database administrators while maintaining segregation of duties and will play a key role in supporting application upgrades, migrations, cybersecurity compliance, and transformation initiatives.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Application Administrator to lead the technical support and administration of enterprise applications. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of software products, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient operation across both pre-production and production environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with server and database administrators while maintaining segregation of duties and will play a key role in supporting application upgrades, migrations, cybersecurity compliance, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical support resource for one or more enterprise applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain software products, including upgrades and patches.
- Support data center migrations and ensure application-specific firewall and network requirements are met.
- Administer and maintain interfaces and APIs for integrated systems.
- Provide technical support for break/fix incidents and troubleshoot application issues.
- Manage both pre-production and production environments, ensuring stability and performance.
- Lead and support the application code release process.
- Implement and maintain Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs).
- Provide required STIG/SRG documentation and outputs to support program compliance.
- Research and resolve cybersecurity vulnerabilities identified through routine scanning.
- Collaborate with server and database administrators while maintaining appropriate separation of duties.
- Support application requirements driven by organizational transformation initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or four (4) additional years of related experience.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in application administration.
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and lifecycle management.
- Experience with application security compliance and vulnerability remediation.
- Familiarity with STIG/SRG implementation and documentation.
- Proficiency in managing APIs, interfaces, and integration points.
