Job Summary:
The Senior System Engineer will possess proficiency in JAVA development and will perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex applications. This role requires a thorough understanding of both administrative and technical skills and involves directing and participating in all phases of system development, with a focus on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E).

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of complex applications.
- Direct and participate in all phases of system development, focusing on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E).
- Apply advanced business or technical principles and methods to solve difficult technical problems and develop automated engineering solutions.
- Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation, including charts and graphs to record results.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required by the Task Order.
- Serve as Task Leader when required, ensuring the quality and services delivered for specific tasks.
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Clearance: Active secret clearance is required.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Java Scripting, STRUTS/STRUTS2.
- Hands-on experience with HTML/XHTML, and XML for web development.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming.
- Familiarity with WebLogic12 for deployment and server management.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of Capability Maturity Model (CMM) principles and practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
